Automation of Word using VB6

I have a VB6 application where I automate Word 2000 functions. I have upgraded to Windows 10. Although Word 2000 will work with Windows 10, it has become unreliable. If I upgrade to Word 2019, will the Microsoft Word xx.x Object Library that comes with Office 2019 work with VB6?
