I have just upgraded our visual studio from 2008 to 2010.
On visual Studio 2008 Profession (with MSDN proefessional) we had the ability to compile and target itanium (IA64) machines, this option seems to be missing after installing Visual Studio 2010 (both on the machine which 2008 was removed from and on a clean machine to verify) - according to this webpage (-> msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hs24szh9(v=VS.100).aspx), it is only available to the Ultimate edition?
Can you please explain that? and if there is any way around it? this means we can no longer compile our software for customers with Itanium machines (which is rediculous, having purchased the professional edition).
