We have just upgraded one of our 2000 Terminal servers to 2003, this included
a Hardware upgrade.

SPEC: Windows 2003 Standard
Max 20 RDP connected users
Database server with front-end POS application.
Dual Xeon 1.8GHz processors.
1 GB RAM
RAID-1 SCSI
15K 130GB disks
Disk Optimisation with Diskepper

How can I optimise the system for the best performance.

1.) What settings should I be choosing under the 'Advanced -> Performace
options' settings ?

2.) Should I be using 'System Managed' for the Paging File ?

3.) Should I turn on "Enable advanced performance" feature ?

RE: Optimise Performance Settings

The performance settings can best be set to "adjust for best performance"
