Adding Apple Developer Account freezes VS up

I am working in Visual Studio 2019 Community Edition. I have Xamarin installed and a project created and it has no errors. When I go to Options -> Xamarin -> Add Apple Account, I enter my Apple ID and password and I click Add, and then the cursor turns into a spinning circle, and just does that forever. Nothing ever happens. No errors or warnings pop up. Any ideas to help me? Any help greatly appreeciated
