Visual Studio support of GTK 3

Are there plans for Visual Studio to support development of UI using GTK#? Currently we have to develop the GUI separately and include as a DLL. The development platforms for GTK# are limited. It would be wonderful to be able to develop the GUI in Visual Studio using GTK#.
