To Microsoft Support Engineer,

I have a team that has used in the past Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) to perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) like operations.

New team members including myself do not have the SSDT tool set loaded on our systems. Based on the following Microsoft website we have concluded that Visual Studio 2019 would be the most advantageous software package to load on our Window 10 systems.

We have loaded Visual Studio 2019 and the Data Storage and Processing workload onto our systems.

Our request to you is, direct us to:

"How To" documentation with respect to using Visual Studio 2019 and Data Storage and Processing workload.

The task is, with this SSDT function set up a SSIS ETL package.

Our work entails moving data from an Epic environment to a Unified Data Platform (UDP) environment.

In the past our team has successfully created many SSIS ETL packages using fairly old Microsoft software packages. We just need to validate and/or learn this new version of the tool set.

Any help you can lend will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for help.
