How to get running services and manufacturer

I'm trying to get a list like is shown in msconfig Services tab. This includes the "friendly" name of the service and having the ability to hide Microsoft services like you can do with the checkbox in the same tab. I can't seem to accomplish this with WMI or the ServiceController.GetServices( ) call. Also, it doesn't seem that this information is available in the registry either. WMI gets the friendly name but not the manufacturer.
