Why lots of VS 2019 errors under strange new project names like 4_Default.aspx?

I accidentally mishit some keys when using VS 2019 to update a page in my website project and now loads of errors have appeared. The strange thing is that the project name associated with each error is not my real project name of SIEWebsite; it is the name of the affected page with a numeric prefix, such as 4_Default.aspx and 5_Register.aspx.

A search of this forum has failed to offer any information about such a problem. Any guidance would be much appreciated.
