Simply telling us developers that we need to manually copy this dll is not an answer! Visual studio should have a way of including such files if they are needed for the web site to perform correctly.
Microsoft.WITDataStore*.dll is part of the ExtendedClient package, they are native dlls and cannot be referenced in managed project.
You will need to manually copy the dll into your bin folder for runtime resolution.
Yes it works but this masks the issue. A proper development environment would handle it.
