Can i still create threads / ask and answer questions here in the MSDN Forums if i am using some products no longer officially supported by Microsoft?

I have a few questions about these MSDN forums and what i am allowed to post here. I have only recently started using these forums so I honestly do not know what is allowed.

Can i create threads / ask questions and post here in the MSDN Forums regarding my Microsoft products that are no longer officially supported by Microsoft?,

Or products that are / may still be supported by Microsoft but other underlying products i am using are no longer officially supported by Microsoft?

Can i then also expect support answers on these products from either microsoft employees or affiliates or just members of the public?

Example Microsoft products I a currently using...

a) VB.NET 2012 (No idea if this is still officially supported by Microsoft). I would mainly like to ask questions in the MSDN Forums, Visual Basic sub forum, regarding VB.NET 2012, is that allowed?

b) .NET Framework 4.5 (I know this is no longer officially supported by Microsoft). Can i ask questions about VB.NET 2012 that uses .net framework 4.5, and/or .NET Framework 4.5 is that allowed here? I am a beginner programmer so i will not easily be able to tell if a problem relates to VB.NET or instead the .NET Framework.

c) Windows 7 (I realize windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft). Am i still allowed to ask questions here in the MSDN Forums regarding VB.NET / .NET Framework, that is run on top of windows 7, is that allowed? I would not be asking support questions regarding the Windows 7 operating system itself.

thanks for any help on this.
