Installed VS 2013. Wrote a simple c++ program and am getting this error:
Error 1 error MSB8020: The build tools for Visual Studio 2012 (Platform Toolset = 'v110') cannot be found. To build using the v110 build tools, please install Visual Studio 2012 build tools. Alternatively, you may upgrade to the current Visual Studio tools by selecting the Project menu or right-click the solution, and then selecting "Upgrade Solution...". C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft.Cpp\v4.0\V120\Microsoft.Cpp.Platform.targets
the options of "selecting project menu or right-click the solution..." are not available for me apparently.
I have tried installing the windows 8 sdk, the 8.1 wdk, the build tools for 2012 and 2013, and no luck. Any advice would be helpful.
