Visual Studio Winforms Project issue

Hi team! I have a C# Winforms Project. Here I had a form named 'MainForm_Modified.cs'. I renamed it to 'MainForm.cs'. Then I did some changes in MainForm.cs and saved them. Then I shut down my system and then restarted next day all my recent changes were lost. And two forms with names 'MainForm_Modified.cs' and 'MainForm.cs' were there. Please help me is there any way to restore the recent changes back? I am using VS 2019. I also searched solutions online. I updated VS 2019, deleted temporary files in bin and obj folder.


Please help if you can!
