Good afternoon. I have bought a new laptop (64bit) and installed Visual Studio 2012. When checking that my existing projects would open and compile with this I realised that I could not use this version with my Windows Mobile projects. I therefore installed my old copy of Visual Studio 2008 as well. Upon opening a Windows Mobile project though I get the following error:-
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Microsoft.CompactFramework.VisualBasic.targets was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk.
Unfortunately this file does not exist in the path stated above, or anywhere else on my laptop. I have downloaded and installed .net compact framework 3.5 from Microsoft downloads site and this does not correct the problem. What might I be missing or doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance.
