Team Explorer, Source Control Explorer: Why are some project grayed out?

I just create two new projects in Devops and added them to VSTS Source Control Explorer by using the "Manage Connections" option in Team Explorer. So far so good. I'm able to do the common functions such as get latest, push pending changes, etc. Everything seems good but these two project are grayed out and have a disabled appearance even though they seem fine.



Any idea what's going on here and how to resolve this?
