We're attempting to use VS2019 live share feature for pair programming during the current troubles. I've been working with another dev. Neither of us have used it before, and just watched a couple of quick introduction videos online.
The first time used it, I, as the guest got a popup informing me that the host wanted to share a web server. I could immediately click a button and open a local browser pointing to his remote IIS and see the results, including the remote debugging (and resulting exception!). We stopped the session for lunch and came back, but then were unable to recreate this functionality.
We've tried manually adding the server using the manage servers interface, but it's unclear how to configure this correctly, and all our attempts have been unsuccessful - always resulting in the remote machine just attempting to contact it's (disabled) local iis instead, not routing through live share...
So the question: Can anyone explain how to trigger this auto discovery mechanism, and/or how to configure
