User Profiles and Folder Redirection

I'm trying to setup Terminal Services on a windows 2003 server.

most users have roaming user profiles and have their home folder set to a
network share, but do not have folder redirection setup.

We are trying to move away from roaming user profiles eventually and so I'm
wondering if folder redirection is the way to go?

I don't care about people's roaming profiles they can setup a new local
profile on new computers they go to and I've set the group policy to set the
TS profile so that will over-ride thier roaming user profile when they log-on
using terminal services.

Here's the thing I haven't read anything about using folder redirection
without roaming profiles and it doesn't seem to work in my test environment.

When I logon using terminal services the MyDocuemnts folder is redirected to
the correct location but I don't have any of the files and folders from when
logged on locally and vice-versa.

Folder Redirection is set in group policy with loopback in the TS server OU
and in the OU of the user account.

Can someone please explain to me the correct way for setting this up?

RE: User Profiles and Folder Redirection

A little more information:

It appears that it is actually not redirecting to the correct location when
logging in via terminal services. I thought this was possibly because I had
the TS user home directory GPO set to redirect to the network homes share
wich is different then where I am setting the folder redirection.

When I log on with terminal services it saves the my documents to the TS
roaming profile but not to where folder redirection is set to.

My users need to have access to their mydocuments folder when logging on to
terminal services.
