Hi Experts,
I am working on visual studio 2010 MFC VC++ application.
Using ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI() , pCmdUI->Enable(bEnableState) enable/disable a menu item by using TRUE/FALSE for bENableState variable. But I would like to display grey icon in front of menu item when it is disable and normal icon when it is enabled.
I tried SetMenuItemBitmaps(ID_NEW,MF_BITMAP|MF_BYCOMMAND,ConvertIconToBitmap(hIcon),ConvertIconToBitmap(hIcon1));
But it is displaying menu icon with enable state.
Is it possible to disable/enable a menu item with grey/normal icon ?
