I'm having a weird problem under Vista Business X64. Everything was
fine until I upgraded to a larger harddisk using Acronis TrueImage. Now
if I create a new file, I can't change it's encryption. I can do
anything else to it such as look at it, move it, delete it, etc, etc. I
just can't change the encryption. If it is created in an encrypted
folder, I can't undo the encryption. If it's clear, I can't encrypt it.
It pops up that error dialog that says something to the effect that I
need to have adminstrator priviledges. It's that dialog that's
associated with trying to change a file that was encrypted with a
different certificate than the one you are using. But since I just
created it, it is using the same certificate that I am using. I
verified that under properties. What can be the problem and how can I
fix it?
thanks.
