I'm here again not to a ask something particular, but to complain a negative feature that Visual Studio/Visula Basic seems to have.
It is much slower, when using drawline or charts, respect Visual Basic 6.
For this purpose i have done many tests.
In projects were real time is not mandatory, we can accept this, but when you have to display a signal acquired from
an external hardware, you have to be quick!
I saved all the work done for a project that needed real time, only reducing drastically the points shown!
In other situations, using cursor on chart with many series and data number, i had to use a trick coming from Visual Basic 6; using Visual Studio standard procedure it was unusable.
I used in the past years VB6, Visual C as GUI for my hardware devices and i was very much positively impressioneted by their power and easy managing, all features that seem lost in Visual Studio.
Thanks to everybody that during this year or more has helped me in moving my projects to Visual Studio.
