Hi everybody,

I have VS 2017 community edition installed on the server I'm accessing through RDP as a user (not as an Admin). When I try to open VS, it gives me a message that the license has expired. Unfortunately, I'm also unable to access my account because VS attempts to ask for account info using IE and IE has tight security on this computer which doesn't allow me to access any sites. I don't want to change IE security settings (and not sure I would be allowed to). I think I tried to make Google Chrome to be default browser on this computer and I think it did take that setting (although I'm not 100% sure), but when I'm prompted to sign in, VS attempts to open IE.

So, I'm in a catch 22 situation as I am unable to activate VS on that computer and I really need to use it because I need to load lots of files and I want to create new SSIS project for that.

What are my options to achieve my goal (e.g. load lots of files with ease into SQL Server)?

Thanks in advance.
