Hi Team,
I want to get the some data from existing web App on daily basis and send mail to configured people. I want it in schedule manner and tried in Selenium automation with browser less chrome driver since i dont have an access for database of that web app. Now i want to add this logic in windows services so that i guess it will be run on schedule time and send mail alerts based on data. But when I added this logic in windows service it not able to find the data and throwing an exception like element not found. But same logic was run well in normal windows App. I thought browser is not opening or not wait till com components loading. My question is can we add selenium logic in windows services & is it able to run the logic in background like open virtual browser and read the data. If yes Please suggest your experience or valid points like what we need to consider while adding the selenium logic in windows services.
