As in May 2020, can i install Visual Studio 2008 on new server/ machine and activate the license.

In order to maintain a Web-Application developed in ASP.NET using Visual Studio 2008, as in May 2020, can i install Visual Studio 2008 on new server/ machine and activate the license. Would the license be activated and all security patches and service pack gets updated from Microsoft Website, or has Microsoft discontinued activation of Visual Studio 2008. Please Suggest.
