Can Visual Studio Enterprise (after 30 days trial) still function-able?

I am not an IT developer, but I do occasionally need Visual Studio to build some small apps on my work computer. Since it is work computer, I don't have the control about installed software.

Visual Studio Enterprise was installed in my computer, but for some reason, I did not follow through about license. That being said, it was about 30 days trial. Sometimes it is bureaucratic to get something done in government (such as license, which requires approval and funding, etc). Anyway, that is not my question.

My question: Now my Visual Studio Enterprise has passed 30 trial days, can it still be function-able? I mean can I still use it to build application? For my personal computer, I only use Visual Studio Community edition, which is sufficient. But I cannot install Visual Studio Community edition in work computer. I could ask my supervisor to reach out to IT department, and could finally get a license for installed Visual Studio Enterprise, but I rarely use Visual Studio and it is annoying for me to go through the process. If expired Visual Studio Enterprise can still function like community edition, then I have no problem with that. As long as I can build some small applications.

Thanks.
