C# How to create hotfix for winform project

i have seen many company provide hotfix for their product. initially their product installer size say 100 MB when they provide hotfix that size is 10MB. when i install their hotfix that fix the error. so i am very curious to know how could i develop hotfix feature for my product which i can distribute to client whose size will be small and after install that will fix error.

please share the idea. thanks
