Hi
I have been wondering about this for a while, and had more or less made my mind up to cut and run. I considered changing to C# as that seemed to ne the way forward.
Now however, it seems that VB.NET will be supported going forward in the next upcoming NET 5 (was NET Core). Although supported, there are no plans to update/upgrade VB.NET going forward, so a little stagnent but usable.
I am basing my opinions on THIS ARTICLE which is very recent - (May 2020), and THIS ONE (March 2020)
So now, I am thinking of going WPF with VB.NET as my next step. Bear in mind, I have no C, C# or WPF experience, so the fact the VB.NET will atleastbe usable in WPF in the future, maybe that will be the easiest learning curve for me. At my age, the easier the better
Anyone else pondering a similar question?
