Can SQL server data tools be installed without Visual Studio?
Im told a reduce version of Visual Studio comes with the SQL Server installation package.
The standalone version of SSDT can be installed with the reduce version. I found a link for a SSDT stand-alone , it mentions Visual Studios 2017. Does this mean it requires VS 2017 or that it shares components with it?
