How to disable Visual Studio Professional 2017 product keys

We want to know how to disable future use of existing Visual Studio Professional 2017 product keys. Trying to prevent unauthorized use of the key by former employees who may have copied the key. The type of keys are retail licenses purchased from Microsoft.com. We want to be able to reinstall the product using different keys.
