how to change color object when clicked it?

I want to make GUI about how to change color object when clicked it? for example, draw the red color rectangle at the position of my mouse, then draw it again at different position followed the position of mouse, after that, i false the case drawing and true the case click to change color into green rectangle when i click selected rectangle. Please anyone can give me example code :)
