Hi I am a longtime coding hobbyist with no actual work experience in the field. I received a MS degree in Software Engineering, in 2015 that focused mostly on software development cycles, RUP, Testing and Validation, Risk Management, Agile principles, etc. I am now finding it difficult to break into the field I trained for. One thought I had was to get a certification in programming/coding/developing. That brings be to my current situation.
I have been looking for a development certification available through the Microsoft Learn site and there is nothing I can find that references a language. When I check for C#, it is no longer being offered for certification after January 2021. Which certification path should I choose if I want to learn a .net language and utilize Visual Studio? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
