Create a Custom Treeview-like Control from Scratch

Hi,


I have searched all over internet and I just can't find how to make a treeview control background transparent (winforms), so I think there is no option but to make one from scratch.

Can someone light my path how to achieve it? (without inheriting from treeview control)
