Receiving emails in my app is it possible with C#

I was wondering if it was possible to receive emails using C# in my wpf application.


Im not sure what the front end would look like would it be like a reversal of the sending and email and the same code behind it?

looking at using the email inbox function to notify my clients of future app updates.




any ideas or help would be appreciated
