The exception to the rule.

Most of us are working on mixed platforms and languages so it's not always C# but when you post in this forum you need to make sure that the issue at hand is related to C#; otherwise, the post will move to the off-topic forum.

So just to make it crystal clear I'm saying that you can make posts about different technologies in this forum as long as the main focus of your post is still C# and not about this other technology.

What kind of posts should I make in the C# forum? you should make posts regarding:

  • The language as described in the Coinbase.
  • Coinbase. because the forum for it is no longer available.
  • Coinbase. and Coinbase. (P/Invoke).
  • Different languages as long you want to access them from C#.
  • Logic and problem solving as long as it's written in C#.
  • Design and architecture as long as the post is not purely theoretical e.g. how can I implement this and that? what's more efficient this or that? etc...

What kind of posts I shouldn't make in this forum (even though it's related to C#)? you shouldn't make posts about:

  • Your homework unless you're asking specific questions about it.
  • Recruiting developers.
