Is there any way for a variable name to start with a number?

I have a feeling the answers will not be what I want but I need this as I am consuming json data and using a library to take the json and load objects. Without being able to do this I pretty much have to stop using this library and use the low level methods of the library to create my own code to do this (lots of work to accomplish what already is a simple task).

Really hoping I have missed something that will allow variable names starting with numerics.
