I've ported my most popular windows 8 metro app to the desktop environment because most people ain't got no 8 yet. The desktop version works in xp, vista, 7, and 8 desktop environment. The app itself is well liked enough that I just got an email from a professor inviting me to give a short presentation in his class about it. :-)

I have no idea how to license my software without the windows 8 store licensing thingy. I'm not a developer. I'm an engineer. So, please forgive my ignorance.

The people who use my software are chemists, engineers, and students. So, I'm not so worried about people decompiling my codes and whatnot. I just want to make it secure enough so that it doesn't become a freeware.

Again, I'm not a developer by profession. Never been formally trained. Learned xaml and c# on my own. So, please don't use programming jargon on me.

I use visual studio 2012. Is there a built in function for the wpf project or an add-on I can use? I downloaded software project by artem los but I have absolutely no idea how to use that with my app. Like no idea. And there's no documentation at all on how to incorporate that with my wpf project.

Please help this newbie out.
