Hi!
I hadn't see a better forum to ask it, so, I'm sorry in advance...
I have a VB.NET 4.7 application functioning 100% in dozens of Windows (8.1 and 10), accessing digital certificates on Stores to encrypt and decrypt data without any problem.
But, in only ONE Dell notebook, I can install the Certificate normally (via MMC), it is found when I need to encrypt data, it is shwon in Store without any warning, I can see its properties normally BUT when I try to decrypt (access its Private Key) Windows denies without any comprehensive message. I have only "Certificate not Found of Password Mismatch".
Obviously, I'm using a PFX certificate and it is similar to all other ones functioning normally in other machines.
If I set a "Higher Security" on the Certificate with a custom password, I see that Windows does not ask me this certificate password to allow access to its private key.
If I install the certificate without any password (lowest security), Windows denies access to its private key directly, again, without any message.
This Windows 10 (release 20H2) is almost plain, no other software installed - only an Office 365 installed by the company where it resides. Yesterday I reformated the disk and returned the "manufacturer Windows" and did all updates again. No success at all.
Do you know what can be happening there?
I appreciate any help on there
