* THE 12 STEPS OF MICROSOFT WINDOWS *

1. We admitted we were powerless over Microsoft and that our lives had
become unmanageable from using Windows.

2. Came to believe that a powerful operating system greater than
Windows could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our computers and our operating system over
to the care of Linux, OS/2, or Macintosh as we understood which works
best.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our hard drives, and
deleted all Microsoft files.

5. Admitted to Microsoft Customer Service, to ourselves and to other
computer users the exact nature of Windows faults.

6. Were entirely ready to have the Format Command remove all these
defective Microsoft files.

7. Humbly asked the County Sanitation Department to remove our Windows
Install CD.

8. Made a list of all personal files on our hard drive which had been
harmed, and became willing to make repairs to them if at all possible.

9. Made direct amends to all people who received virus infections from
our emails as a result of Outlook Express, wherever possible, except
when to do so would further injure them or their computers.

10. Continued to take inventory of personal files and when they were
corrupt, we promptly deleted them.

11. Sought the book "The Dummies Guide to Computers", and through
reading and learning, we sought to improve our conscious contact with
our computers, as we understood them, searching only for knowledge of
another operating system, and hoping we have the CPU power and Memory
to install it.

12. Having had a technological awakening as the result of these steps,
we tried to carry this message to other computer users, and to refuse
to use Microsoft software in all our affairs.

*Side note:
For those into 13 stepping.....

13. Using our newly installed powerful operating system, we went
online to search for the latest porn photos and promptly downloaded
them.

That's almost sacrilegious to the ones the "real" 12 steps saved from death.
