Windows Service using .Net 5 Not Available

In the latest preview version of Visual Studio as of this writing (16.9 Preview 1), one can create .Net 5 applications but are not able to create a Windows Service using .Net 5; only .Net 4.72.

Is there a roadmap to when one would able to create a .Net 5 Windows service?
