Kue2 - Nero 8.1.1.4 released!

Our first snow-fall came this morning,Nov 21 st 07.

I installed latest version of Nero last night.Install went fine.Only thing I
don't like is it takes forever to finish.I wish that it only updated,but
instead it installs a whole "new" version.First it deletes the version you
have & then d/ls & installs new version.

I'll have to check in the event viewer for SXS errors later today.
I'll post back to you.

I had to do a complete restore with Acronis True Image to fix Vista Ultimate
64 & flash player.Still don't know what caused that problem.
I restored back to Nov 10 th. The restore fixed the Adobe Flash problem.
I tried 5-6 different fixes from adobe's web site but nothing would fix
flash player.

Something I or my better half loaded must have corrupted system
files,because when I ran SFC it told me some files were corrupted & could
not be fixed.I wish they would make the CBS log files easy to open &
read......IE.......plain text.
To read I had to convert to plain txt.I had a link on how to convert but
lost it when I rolled back. Do you know of a CBS.log convertor,that I can
d/l? opps just found this link........

Follow-up to previous post
SXS errors still appear in event viewer.........no fix yet.......{:-(. Still
waiting on a reply back from Nero tech support on errors........

I was not expecting much for such a minor revision number.

I am looking for an all in one Media Editor. I have Vista 64 bit Ultimate,
I just installed the Nero Trial. The errors you mention, do they mean
anything, do they do anything? Do you see any pitfalls with the purchase of
this software? How does it compare to Roxio?
