RE: remote desktop problem

HI Wong,

i was doing research on this issue that you have mentioned, but we need to
collect some data to get to the solution. Please let me know if there are any
error in the Event viewer for application and system logs. If yes please post
it so that we can find the right solution.

thanks and Regards

RE: remote desktop problem

hi

It is just too bad with no error log, the server seem to be fine but just
the rdp doesnt work, when you click connect, it seem to be no response and no
error.Have you face these before?

Re: remote desktop problem

I am currently having the same issue but it is for a VPS. I can ping the IP,
and I can log in through the VPSHost and manage the computer, but I cannot
RDP into the VPS. No error, just doesnt connect.

I've reviewed the Event Viewer and in System there is an error right before
an unexpected Shutdown:

" The device, \Device\Scsi\msvmscsi1, did not respond within the timeout
period. "

Are the 2 issues related?..

I have rebooted the server and I still cannot connect. According to the
client, the RDP issue is a reoccurring issue. The Firewall is turned off and
there are no IPSec policies assigned. I can't connect... what to do?

Re: remote desktop problem

Okay I am getting an error message:

"The client could not connect to the remote computer.

Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to
accept new connections......."

Re: remote desktop problem - solved

Okay. I fixed my problem. Almost too embarrased to say, it was just the
Terminal Services service was disabled.

It's going to be a long day.

Thank you
