I thought i would post this since it took me forever to figure out, and may
save someone some time.

Vista 64 would sleep if i hit the sleep key on my keyboard, but would not
sleep automatically (after the time set).

Resolution was to re-install the wireless keyboard and mouse with Vista 64
drivers. As it turned out they were using vista 32 drivers and since they
worked i did not think they were an issue, but by updating them it fixed the
sleep issue.

Re: Resolution for Sleep Vista 64

It couldn't use 32-bit drivers, so the odds are it was using native built-in
64-bit drivers and the correct or updated drivers fixed your issue. Glad it
is fixed.

Re: Resolution for Sleep Vista 64

yea, your right. must have been older 64 bit drivers.
