We are using Win 2003 Server TS edition. We have 10-15 users logging in at a
time. There is one user that constantly gets disconnected. He gets the
following message:

“The connection has been lost. Attempting to reconnect to your session…

Connection 1 of 20”

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Re: "connection has been lost" message

And is that user, or rather the client, located on the same network
segment as the other clients? If so, it seems to be a problem with
the NIC on the client.

Re: "connection has been lost" message

I had thought about that, but I don't think that it because he brought his
computer into our office several time and has the same problems.

Re: "connection has been lost" message

I'm not sure what you mean by this.
If this client has consistent connectivity problems while connected
to the same network as all other clients in the office, surely that's
a reason to swap the NIC on this client?

Re: "connection has been lost" message

I see.

I'll check out his NIC the next time he's in and post the results.
