I am not sure how/when this happened, but in upgrading from IE 6 to IE 7 on a
Windows 2003 R2 SP2 terminal server, it appears the 'administrator' account
has been locked down.
Because of this, I could not get through the run-once setup on IE7 and
windows update will not work. If I log in using another userid that has
admin priviledges (but not called 'administrator') all these features work.
Is this a security feature that got introduced and I just never noticed? Is
there a article somewhere with more details on this? The searches I did have
not shown up anything useful.
