I would not have said they have a server farm for usenet and web forums if I had not
been told that specifically by the person responsible for them. I do not shoot from
the hip regarding info supplied through those channels. You apparently like to make
baseless inflammatory remarks, however.

So what?

This isn't a discussion about any servers. It's just you hijacking someone else's
thread again.

No, I was not "conjecturing" about MS "must have" a lot of servers blah blah blah.
My conjecture was about whether the web forum and newsgroup servers are connected
with the rest of their servers. You just turn statements around and snip them to
suit your needs. What you state is in no way what I posted.
Dramatic? You have a serious cognitive problem.

Why would I waste my time and theirs just to satisfy your apparently idle curiosity?
I have in fact contacted my Lead at MS regarding your other thread some time ago
about your imaginary cut-off date for Windows Update and Win98. Since there has not
been a definite answer yet as to if and when WU will end for Win98, I have not
posted anything.....nothing yet to report. Obviously since the dates in question
passed without event, your idle conjecture on that was wrong. What crystal ball did
you use to decide I never contacted them? I am certainly not going to report to you
every time I contact someone at MS, and I am not going to waste my precious time
playing word games with you.

You really don't know what you are talking about, so you just make things up
apparently. Are you really so clueless that you believe the MS newsgroups and web
forums are all supported by only one or two machines?

Again, what does any of this have to do with the original thread? NOTHING. The
original thread was about a Product Key for Win98, but you really don't care what it
was about as long as you can divert the thread to whatever you want to go on about,
it seems.
I frankly don't care what assertion you you question. You just argue for the sake
of argument. I replied to you sincerely....my mistake. It will not happen again.
PLONK.
