i m running vista 32bit home premium.i was given the same soloution by
micerosoft ,but i am stuk at step2 to Install .NET Framework 1.1
Redistributable Package and its updates .
my system is refusing to install it , it starts then roll backs .
i send microsoft an email abt this but so far , no response.
can someone help me plz ?

Step 1: Remove .NET Framework 1.1 using Microsoft Windows Installer CleanUp

1. Visit:

2. Please save the file on your Desktop
3. Please double click the msicuu2.exe file to install it on your computer.
4. Click Start -> All Programs->Windows Installer Clean Up.
5. Please locate and remove Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.
Then, please move on to step 2 to reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 and its
updates.
Step 2: Install .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable Package and its updates

Note: When the "File Download" window appears, please click Save, and follow
the directions to save the file on the Desktop. After downloading all the
setup files, please double-click on each one to install them. If you are

A little involved, but cured the problem without residual effect (so far).
