What does 'hijackthis' mean?

In many responses to postings, reference is made to 'hijackthis'. What is
meant by this? Thanks.

HijackThis is a tool /experts/ use for analysis. HijackThis was written by
MS MVP Merijn and is now owned by Trend Micro.
