Speakers don't work

After downloading Windows XP Professional, my speaker's are not working. It
says that there is no audio device under Device Manager but when I check all
the audio devices, they say they are installed properly. Can you help me to
get my speakers working?

I guess that by "downloading" you mean "installing".
Second guess is that it is Windows XP Professional x64.
Where are you seeing your devices installed properly if you see no devices
in Device Manager?
Is it a new PC?
Can you contact the vendor and ask him for drivers?
Can you tell us which is your sound card or audio chipset embedded in your
motherboard?
If you know the above info, have you gone to the manufacturer web site and
looked for drivers?
