Or he may want to locate and install the 2002 version of NAV or NSW
(Norton System Works), which will update itself with the most current
versions of the scan engine and definition files.

Again, I've found no fault with them (the 2002 NSW version).

I don't know if that's specifically true, but if so it would have
started with the 2003 or 2004 version.

Depends on what you (and Symantec) mean by support.
If you mean e-mail or phone support, probably not. But most people
don't need support like that.
Like I said, NAV/NSW 2002 runs just fine on 98, and when it updates
itself NAV 2002 obtains current definition and scan engine files.
