Intermittent error receiving faxes

I have a Windows Server 2003 Standard machine configured as a DC with
fax service installed. Sending faxes works 100% of the time with no
issues. However we are having problems intermittently when receiving
faxes. I have attached a sample from ActivityLog\InboxLog to
demonstrate errors and one error log from the incoming queue.

We have a U.S. Robotics 56K V.92 internal fax modem (MX12146), which
should be on the HCL. The modem is configured to answer after 2 rings.
We have tried disabling compression and dropping the port speed to
9600 without effect.

The most common error we get is "Unknown Fatal Error" 0x0000000c, but
we also get "The remote fax machine did not respond in time, and the
call was terminated" 0x40000802 quite often, too.

This is a low-volume/high importance line, so any help would be
appreciated.

Hi :
i have read your problem from internet "www.tech-archive.net". i m also working same kind of project. I m interface fax modem through AT commands. I m facing a problem which i think you can solve b/c as you said you have send fax 100%.i m trying to send fax. I have done initialization ( phase A and Phase B).in phase C i have sent " AT+FTM=96" modem reply ok.its mean it ready to send image data .i have send image data but i cannot send it ( from other side fax machine display " Receiving Page1" but i cannot print( i have checked fax its ok).

can you guide about it. Is there any problem in DCS signal or some thing like this.

Hello MAX,

It will be better for you to open your own posting, because that one you
are using fomr DEC 2007 is maybe not longer viewed. Also if you think it
is server related please post the operating system you are using and the
setup of the server. Additional post evnet viewer errors if you have some.
