revised ques. Have 2000 Professional, SP4, 1.7 GHZ machine, 512 MB and 80G
HD. Can I upgrade to Vista without any problems. What about my windows 2000
Office programs - will they run on Vista or do I have to buy new ones.

Could not get this info from Microsoft. Thanks very much

Re: Upgrade 2000 to Vista

Perhaps asking in the Vista group as to what will work or not would be a
quicker more accurate way of finding out.

Re: Upgrade 2000 to Vista

Bob,

You cannot upgrade to Vista from 2000 it has to be a clean install

Secondly, you need min 1 Gig RAM too
