Hi,
I am running Windows 2000 Server on a PC I use for creating applications
using a Human Machine Interface development package called "WonderWare". A
while ago, I was planning on creating an application that was going to go to
China. I can't remember exactly how I did this, but now, when I go to
Control Panel | Regional Options on the General Tab, my locale is set for
English (United States), but below that it says that my "system is configured
to read and write documents in multiple languages." Below this, I have
checkmarks next to both "Western Europe and United States" and "Traditional
Chinese (Default)". These are both grayed out. I try selecting "Western
Europe and United States" and clicking the "Set default" button, but this
does not seem to do anything.
The problem I am experiencing is that in the Wonderware application, certain
characters (specifically the degree symbol) are showing up as Chinese
characters. If anyone can tell me how I can set this system back to US
English only, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Paul
